Athens

In Athens we treat 1,200 patients per month, across 13 social centre and camp locations, 6 days per week. Currently the majority of patients are Syrian, Afghani, Pakistani, Iraqi and Iranian.

Services we offer:

  • Primary healthcare
  • Primary minor surgery
  • Case management
  • Referral to more advanced medical services, dental work and psychological support
  • Referral to legal, accommodation, food and clothing support
  • Health education and promotional presentations.
  • Emergency response to squats and house calls to patients
  • Manual patient documentation

    Our team
  • 2 long term coordinators: 1 medical, 1 logistical
  • 2-3 doctors,
  • 2-3 medical staff (nurse, paramedic or medical students),
  • 1 translator from within the community.

    Our resources:
  • Key partnerships which enable us to run clinics and store supplies without cost
  • Medical supplies and equipment
  • An equipped ambulance to transport the team to camps and clinics and as a private space to treat patients at outreach clinics

1600 patients per month
Thessaloniki

In Thessaloniki, we treat 1600 patients per month at two locations: the clinic in Filia and the Diavata Camp (approx. 2000 residents). Currently, most of our patients are from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Algeria, Morocco, Kurdistan, Syria and Iraq.

  • Referral to other services in the area
  • Manual patient documentation
  • Food distribution and supply of clothing and hygiene items for new arrivals at the same location by our partner WAVE Our team

  • 2-3 medical staff (nurse, paramedic or medical students)
  • 2 translator from within the community

  • The clinic in Filia as a protected space to provide medical care to our patients.
  • A network of important local and international partnerships that enable us to
  • To provide medical services for patients in the camp,
  • Have the necessary equipment available at both locations and o to provide assistance beyond the medical care.

1000 patients per month
Lesvos

In Lesvos we treat 1000 patients per month, with the clinic open 5 days per week. Currently the majority of our patients are African and Afghani.

  • Primary healthcare
  • Case management for complex cases
  • Psychological support
  • Health promotion classes
  • Assisting with outbreaks
  • Run of the pharmacie

  • 4-5 doctors
  • 2 nurses
  • 1-2 medical students
  • 4-5 translators from within the community

    Our resources:
  • Serving Patients in the camp with primary care
  • With the opening of the central pharmacy in the camp we guarantee a continously professional documented disposal of the medicine
  • In cooperation with different other medical ngos and local institutions we serve the patients as best as possible
